Ciao Pinelle, another weekend is finally around the corner! And, from tomorrow, it looks like the sun will be shining practically everywhere!! Hurrah!
The outfit I’m going to show you today is a bit “alternative”. I wanted to wear a lovely black circle skirt by Byblos, full of mesh details between one pleat and another! This shape has been really on trend in skirts over the past few years, but I have often found it hard to match it with shoes that aren’t classic high heels!
This winter, in lots of collections, I saw them worn with heavy-duty boots, to create a style contrast between the elegance of the skirt and the rock’n’roll mood of the shoes, which I loved instantly! But since the fine weather is on its way, today I wore it with a gorgeous pair of black gladiator sandals by Isabel Marant, with studded soles!
On top I teamed it with a simple white tank by James Perse and a denim shirt in light hues by Mango, knotted at the waist like back in the Eighties!
So what do you think Pinelle? I really love this combination, do you?
Kisses to all and have a great weekend!!!
PS: As you can see from the photos, I went a bit crazy, … I kept twirling around, playing and dancing, as it’s exactly what these skirts seem to be made for!! 🙂
