Richmond Park

Richmond Park

Hi there Pinelle and Pinelli! Are you ready for tomorrow night? Today we are here for the whole day at Cinecittà for rehearsals, and tomorrow it’s the second episode at long last!

But today I want to show you some photos I took during a weekend in London with Paolo, and another couple, friends of ours, Carlo and Giorgia. It was a lovely Sunday afternoon, and we went for a walk in Richmond Park, a famous park at the gates of London. It covers an area of almost 10km and it is London’s largest, but that’s not all, it is also Europe’s largest urban walled park.

It is considered a Nature Reserve, and inside you can see lots of deer running free. One of the park’s most visited areas is the Isabel Plantation, which is a woodland, full of plants and animals, created from a pre-existing forest after the Second World War. But there are really lots of amazing places in this park, so if you’re thinking of going to London, I highly recommend it. It’s easy to reach by tube; we left from South Kensington and got here in 20 minutes, thanks to the efficiency of the London underground!
We had a great time, the weather was cool but sunny. We stopped at Petersham Nurseries for brunch, which is a really unusual location, with the restaurant and bar inside a marvellous greenhouse. We talked about it before… do you remember???

Now it’s time to head back to Rome… eheheh and off to the Studios of Cinecittà!
A big kiss to all of you!!!
