Three photographers with three different styles, all three involved in a unique creative project, that of Nicolas Ghesquière for the new Louis Vuitton campaign. A single goal, to portray and define the fashion house’s idea of beauty and refinement, through different models and settings, because the LV woman has more than one single style!
This gave rise to a campaign developed on the basis of a concept of “Series” with different chapters, and has already won the British Fashion Award for best advertising campaign of the year.
Actresses, established models and new faces of different ages and nationalities that inspired the artistic director in defining the ideal femininity of the maison. After Michelle Williams and Jennifer Connelly for the S/S 2015 season, the Swedish actress Alicia Vikander is the new muse of the fashion house for the “Series 3” campaign for fall winter 2015/2016.
From black and white images of “Series 2”, with the beautiful actress Jennifer Connelly, pictured within a graphic play of light and shade which she blends into perfectly becoming an element of the visual composition, to the images of “Series 3” with Alicia Vikander which combines the photographic perspectives of Juergen Teller and Bruce Weber for the new collection.
