Since summer has practically arrived, it’s time to be full of energies and detox our organism from the toxins collected during the winter and this rainy spring! When seasons change, it’s normal to feel tired, out of shape and with a bad mood…fruit and veggies can help us with their vitamins and minerals that helps us recharge the batteries in a healthy and nutrient way! Blueberries are amazing, did you know that they are called the “good mood fruit”? yes, they increase the level of serotonin in the blood.
This little fruit is marvelous and magic for our organism…it helps us burn fats naturally and even if it is very small it’s full of fibers and water, perfect to fight cellulitis!
But it’s not over… blueberries contain an extraordinary amount of antioxidants and vitamins that keep us young, slowing down the aging process. It also improves our memory and they are perfect for kids too! Mia’s snack is often blueberries juice, and besides being good for her health, she just loves it!

If you feel like have a refreshing beverage to go to the beach then there is nothing better than a liter and a half of flavored water with a handful of blueberries and slice of citrus, I usually prefer an orange. Some ice cubes and let it rest in the fridge for at least a couple of hours. A fresh and refreshing beverage!!
