Maybe it’s because of spring, the firsts sunny days, the smell of flowers and the desire to get rid of winter jackets. I really want to feel light… I am starting to think about my shopping list for this spring/summer 2016…and I want to share with you my wish list. The colors I love, make up choices, accessories and many surprises… you’ll find out with me in the next days.
Let’s start from something that I really love, and that I always wear gladly… I am talking about my trench coat. A classic that keeps on being reinterpreted, perfect for any occasion, able to change and give a different shape to every outfit. Perfect for a sporty look, combined with sneakers, a t-shirt or a sweater, depending on the weather.
Just like this biscotti colored Topshop trench that I wear in these pics, something that all my friends want. The trench is a must for this season, everlasting, always able to reinvent itself. We saw it on the runway during the Paris Fashion Week, and it is always present, in every single catwalk, for any collection from spring / summer to autumn / winter. Always loved by celebrities, I like to remember the way Brigitte Bardot used to wear it. Amazing…
When we talk about this item, we must think about Burberry that made the trench coat his band icon, and there are also designers that had fun altering the classic model like Junya Watanabe or Maison Martin Margiela..
Talking about duster coat, I can’t stop thinking about my beloved London and particularly about the day that I spent in Richmond Park with Paolo. Even during that occasion, I was wearing a trench by Topshop. Yes, because in my mind, the trench is something that I can wear with everything. It’s casual, it makes me feel free and that’s why I always wear it loose without lacing up the belt, with a pair of soft jeans and comfy shoes, so I can walk around for hours…
There are many colors that you can choose, from the traditional beige to orange, then there are original models with refined prints and pastel colors like pink, yellow and blue. Elegant but also very casual. A timeless model is the beige with black buttons one by H&M, but also the one with wide revers and huge pockets by Mango. More casual the oversize cotton parka, with big pockets and automatic buttons by Zara.
An evergreen, unique, always creative, that can be adapted to different personalities and styles. And you Pinelli, which model and color will you choose for this spring?
